The National Museum and Art Gallery (NMAG) invites artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in our upcoming multi-media Juried Group Exhibition titled “Festivals and Rituals of Trinidad and Tobago”.

Trinidad and Tobago celebrates a mélange of national, religious and cultural festivals such as Divali, Spiritual Baptist/Shouter Liberation Day, Eid-ul-Fitr, Buccoo Goat and Crab Race Festival, Carnival, Easter, Oshun River Festival, Tobago Heritage Festival, La Divina Pastora, Ramleela, First People’s Celebration, Phagwa/Holi and Chinese New Year to name but a few. To embrace and celebrate this ethnic diversity of Trinidad and Tobago, NMAG endeavours to highlight the impact of our diverse cultural heritage on visual art perceptions as evidenced by works of art.
